and quality. As a tree grows over 6ft the tree commands a higher

Nordman Fir

soft flat needled conifer native to the Caucasus where it grows
in the mountains. It is a tree that needs a lot of specialised
attention from the pruner and grower. It has very good needle
holding qualities, a subtle aroma and the rotation is some 10

introduced species which has been widely planted for the purpose
of producing Christmas trees. It has dark green foliage and
stiff branches which are well suited for decorating. It retains
its needles well. The seed is collected in Abernethy, Speyside,
we plant Calidonian Provenance.

American native, it needs fairly aggressive pruning to keep
it in shape due to it's vigorous growth. It is prized for its
blue colour and an exotic citrus, spicy smell. A tree for the
hall way or corridor due to its slim form. |
